Area Sales Representative – North Central

About the role

BIC is looking for an energetic Area Sales Representative to manage sales, distribution and in‑market execution across the North Central territory of Nigeria. You will build strong relationships with customers, drive product availability and contribute to the growth of BIC’s FMCG portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales orders and ensure timely delivery of BIC products to assigned outlets.
• Redistribute inventory efficiently and maintain coverage of all relevant retail points.
• Review performance regularly with regional managers and customers against agreed targets.
• Develop and implement a territory coverage plan, identifying new sales opportunities.
• Execute promotions, POSM deployment and Sales Force Automation (SFA) projects flawlessly.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as sales volume, value, outlet count, order frequency and cash collection.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of FMCG sales or business development experience.
• Strong negotiation and results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to identify new sales opportunities and provide customer‑focused solutions.
• Self‑starter who works well under pressure and meets commitments.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
