Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead sales activities across the assigned territory, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for our lubricants portfolio. You will work closely with distributors, key partners and high‑value customers to achieve sales targets and strengthen long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals and volume objectives within the territory.
• Identify, acquire and onboard new distributors, partners and high‑value customers.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing distributors and customers.
• Develop and execute territory sales strategies to increase market penetration.
• Communicate company sales processes, policies and initiatives to the field.
• Conduct market research to uncover emerging opportunities and customer needs.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing and product offerings and provide feedback to management.
• Prepare regular sales, market and performance reports.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion and increase market share.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Sciences, Business or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years of sales experience in the lubricants industry.
• Established network of customers and distributors in the lubricants market.
• Strong business development, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the territory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
