Area Business Manager – Okada, Edo State

About the role

The Area Business Manager will lead sales, collections and distribution for Sun King’s EasyBuy solar products in Okada, Edo State. Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, East Central, you will be responsible for building and sustaining a high‑performing network of Energy Officers who sell on a pay‑as‑you‑go basis.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and retain at least 40 Energy Officers, using local influencers such as village heads, teachers and religious leaders.
• Provide comprehensive training on sales, collections, product knowledge, technical support, inventory and logistics.
• Define clear daily tasks, routes and targets for Energy Officers and ensure they have the tools to demonstrate and sell Sun King products.
• Conduct weekly field visits and touch‑points with each Energy Officer, resolve issues and report progress to the Regional Business Manager.
• Participate in joint field work, night and market activations, and community events to drive group sales and engagement.
• Oversee the first five sales of each Energy Officer to guarantee proper understanding of sales and collection processes.

Required profile

• Proven ability to generate sales and ensure timely, accurate collections.
• Experience managing a large field sales team and coordinating logistics in a rural environment.
• Strong supervisory skills with a focus on integrity, ethics and professionalism.
