Architectural Assistant

About the role

IMỌSÉ Studio, a design practice rooted in Edo philosophy, is seeking an Architectural Assistant for its growing Lagos practice. The role suits someone with strong design sensibilities, excellent technical skills and the ability to take ownership of assigned work with minimal supervision. It is a full-time, hybrid position open to candidates based in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural and interior design projects from concept development through technical documentation.
• Prepare accurate architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations and construction details.
• Develop and coordinate Revit models and drawing packages.
• Translate design concepts, sketches and markups into resolved architectural deliverables.
• Produce design presentations, diagrams and visual materials.
• Research materials, building regulations and design precedents.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated and complete, and manage assigned tasks independently to agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional architectural experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Demonstrated experience producing architectural drawing packages and construction documentation.
• Ability to work confidently and accurately in metric and imperial units, including dimensioning, drawing setup and unit conversions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Revit (strong working proficiency essential)
• Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign
• Architectural visualisation
• Rhino (working proficiency preferred)
• Attention to detail, organisation and time management

Compensation is N250,000 to N300,000 per month depending on experience and technical proficiency. Applications are made through LinkedIn with a CV only; shortlisted candidates face a practical architectural skills assessment.
