Junior Project Architect

About the role

Stone Depot by Impacto is looking for a proactive and technically competent Junior Project Architect to join its team in Jakande, Lekki, Lagos. The role translates clients' requirements into practical technical designs, carries out site visits and measurements, prepares shop drawings and job cards, and coordinates the fabrication and installation of natural stone products. It is a hands-on position combining architectural design, technical knowledge, site coordination and client relationship management. The schedule is Monday to Saturday, onsite, with immediate resumption.

Key responsibilities

• Visit client sites, take accurate measurements and assess project requirements.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications for fabrication and installation.
• Develop job cards with measurements, material specifications, dimensions and finishing requirements.
• Engage clients, architects, contractors and other stakeholders to understand requirements and give technical guidance.
• Coordinate and supervise fabrication so products meet approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Supervise on-site installation of marble, granite and other natural stone products, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery.
• Liaise with fabrication, stock and installation teams and resolve technical challenges during measurement, fabrication and installation.
• Prepare project updates and regular feedback on progress, challenges and completion timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Good understanding of site measurements, technical detailing and construction processes.
• Strong coordination, communication and client engagement skills; ability to work independently, pay attention to detail and manage multiple projects.
• Experience or exposure to marble, granite, quartz and other natural stone materials is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural design and drawing software.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and turn them into fabrication-ready shop drawings.
