Arabic‑Speaking Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager (Egyptian)

About the role

The Precious Palm Royal Hotel is seeking an Arabic‑speaking Egyptian Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager to lead its housekeeping team on‑site in Benin City. This full‑time position is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, assign tasks, monitor cleaning standards and ensure rooms, corridors and facilities are presented to hotel quality.
• Inspect rooms and public areas, coordinate laundry services and manage inventory of linen, cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Enforce hotel policies, health, safety and sanitation regulations throughout the department.
• Train, coach and schedule housekeeping staff, respond to guest requests and resolve service issues promptly.
• Communicate and collaborate with front‑office, maintenance and food‑and‑beverage teams to support seamless hotel operations.
• Implement quality‑control procedures and drive continuous improvement in housekeeping processes and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven housekeeping knowledge and experience in hotel room cleaning, public‑area maintenance and hygiene standards.
• Strong supervisory abilities including team leadership, task delegation, performance monitoring and staff training.
• Experience in laundry operations, linen handling and inventory management.
• Fluent Arabic and good English communication skills.
• Previous role as housekeeping supervisor or manager in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Benin City, manage shifts and be flexible for weekends and holidays.
• Solid understanding of health, safety and sanitation practices with ability to enforce compliance.
• Organizational and time‑management skills, attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
