Application Support Officer

About the role

Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited is looking for an Application Support Officer in Lagos. The officer keeps electronic and digital channels and the applications in their domain available and usable by customers 24/7, provides business insights through script writing with business intelligence tools, and supports the organisation's software applications.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all electronic and digital channels in the production environment are available and usable 24/7, and that applications in the officer's domain are available and usable 24/7.
• Provide business insights and foresight to the business through script writing using business intelligence or user-interpretable tools.
• Support software applications by resolving technical issues and troubleshooting problems.
• Assist in maintaining system performance, security and stability.
• Support system upgrades and monitor application health so applications run smoothly and efficiently.

Required profile

• First degree in IT and Computer Sciences or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of application support experience in the financial sector.
• Professional certifications such as MS SQL, advanced scripting, AIX/Unix/Ubuntu, basic financial knowledge and .NET programming are an added advantage.
