Android Engineer (Mobile Banking)

About the role

You will join FairMoney’s Technology Division as an Android Engineer, building the core mobile banking app for emerging markets. The role involves delivering high‑quality features end‑to‑end and collaborating with a distributed team across Lagos, Bangalore, Paris and remote locations.

Key responsibilities

• Create, develop, and test new features across the full software development lifecycle.
• Maintain high‑quality standards, including code quality, unit, instrumented and end‑to‑end testing.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional Android native development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• 2+ years of experience with pair programming, TDD, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Ability to write clean, efficient code and work with multi‑module apps.
• Proactive, impact‑driven team player with good communication skills.
