Airport Manager – Lagos

About the role

Join Etihad Airways as an Airport Manager in Lagos, overseeing all passenger and aircraft handling operations. You will lead a multicultural team, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and drive performance across the airport’s daily activities.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise passenger and aircraft handling, ensuring adherence to checklists, brand standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage safety and security outcomes through promotion, hazard identification, risk assessment and compliance monitoring.
• Coordinate VIP, MAAS, PRM and other special guest requirements, including planning and execution.
• Maintain and rehearse emergency response, disruption, diversion and business continuity plans.
• Monitor on‑time performance, report delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive ancillary sales performance and ensure process compliance.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent industry experience.
• 7‑9 years of senior‑level leadership experience in airport or aviation operations.
• Proven ability to work in high‑pressure, multicultural shift environments, including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience with global best practices and exposure to regional or international operations.
