AI Lab Attendant

About the role

The AI Lab Attendant will ensure the AI laboratory operates smoothly and safely each day. You will support teachers, students and visitors by preparing the space, maintaining equipment and handling basic technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Open, close and keep the AI Lab clean, safe and orderly.
• Monitor entry and exit, allowing only authorised users.
• Prepare the lab and equipment for classes, workshops and training sessions.
• Monitor proper use of computers, devices, furniture and other resources.
• Report damaged, missing or malfunctioning equipment promptly.
• Support basic setup and troubleshooting of computers and internet connectivity.
• Maintain records of lab usage, incidents and maintenance needs.
• Enforce lab rules, safety procedures and acceptable‑use policies.
• Coordinate routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Assist users with basic lab operations as needed.
• Perform other duties related to the effective operation of the AI Lab.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/WAEC/NECO; OND/NCE or higher in ICT, Computer Science, Technology or related field is an advantage.
• Good organisational and record‑keeping abilities.
• Reliable, punctual and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Previous experience in a computer lab, ICT centre or similar environment is a plus.
