About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Lagos State. The role involves managing accounting transactions, payroll, and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records and financial reports.
- Appraise, evaluate, and inventory company assets while maintaining an asset register.
- Record, reconcile, and post petty cash and fuel imprest.
- Reconcile payments and receipts, confirm customer deposits and issue receipts.
- Manage all accounting transactions and administer payrolls.
- Control income and expenditure, audit financial information.
- Compile and present reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements.
Required profile
- HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a relevant accounting role.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
