Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our team in Lagos. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll and tax activities, and providing insightful financial analysis to management.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including bank reconciliations.
• Monitor income, expenses, budgets, and cash flow.
• Prepare invoices, process payments, and assist with payroll.
• Support tax compliance and audit processes.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAN/ACCA) is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and detail‑oriented skills.
