About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Account Officer to join the finance team of a fast‑growing facility‑management company. The role involves managing financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting strategic decision‑making across our Lagos and Abuja offices.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and periodic statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements and internal controls.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA is an advantage.
Proven experience in an accounting or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS and GAAP.

Required skills

Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP).
Financial analysis and reporting.
