Account & Business Development Officer

About the role

The Account & Business Development Officer will drive acquisition of new loan customers and nurture existing client relationships for our financial products. You will work closely with civil servants and SME owners to match their financing needs with our payday loan, micro‑credit, and other credit solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create new customer accounts and manage existing client relationships.
• Identify, acquire and convert leads for loan products, especially payday loans, micro‑credit and SME credit.
• Promote loan offerings, understand customers' financial needs and recommend suitable products.
• Process loans for civil servants using WACS and Remita systems.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, invoices, revenue and customer accounts.
• Prepare regular reports on business development activities and performance.
• Achieve set sales and business development targets while providing professional support throughout the loan process.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, business development or account management.
• HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience selling payday loans, micro‑credit or SME‑related credit products.
• Current residence in Abuja.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a target‑driven environment.

Required skills

• WACS system for loan processing.
• Remita payment platform.
• Microsoft Office suite.
