Warehouse Supervisor – Logistics Operations

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day activities of the warehouse at Golden Penny Foods in Kano, ensuring efficient dispatch of finished products, accurate inventory control and smooth operations that meet business goals and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day management of warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Authorize loading and dispatch of finished products in line with approved procedures.
• Prepare and analyse daily dispatch and delivery reports to support operational decision‑making.
• Ensure smooth vehicular movement and traffic flow before, during, and after product loading activities.
• Coordinate warehouse personnel to achieve optimal productivity and operational efficiency.
• Monitor product handling and storage processes to minimise losses and damages.
• Enforce strict adherence to the First‑In, First‑Out (FIFO) inventory management principle.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and organisation within warehouse facilities.
• Ensure accurate product loading and dispatch documentation.

Required profile

• Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and dispatch processes.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
