Warehouse Officer

About the role

The Warehouse Officer will support daily warehouse operations at Zen Limited’s Lagos facility. This entry‑level position involves handling inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a safe, organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Conduct physical inventory counts, cycle counts and reconcile records.
• Organise warehouse space, arranging shelves and racks for optimal utilization.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Load and unload trucks, containers or pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, adhering to safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels, alerting management to low stock or overstock situations.
• Prepare shipping documents, packing slips and labels for outgoing shipments.
• Assist with safety inspections, equipment checks and preventive maintenance.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with up to 24 months of warehouse experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Good attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
