Technology Lead (Founding Head of Digital Product & Technology)

About the role

Kalvia is building a technology‑enabled certified workforce marketplace that connects training, competency certification and skilled professionals with institutional and retail demand. As a Founding Head of Digital Product & Technology, you will lead the design, development and launch of the Kalvia Platform, shaping a mobile‑first digital experience that spans student acquisition, learning, certification, workforce management, service delivery, payments and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Define digital product strategy, roadmap and business‑process/user‑journey design.
• Architect solution and integration plans for ERP, CRM, LMS, marketplace and payment systems.
• Oversee platform implementation, launch and ongoing technology ownership.
• Manage data governance, cybersecurity, budgeting, governance and risk management.
• Select and manage technology vendors and implementation partners.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align technical delivery with business objectives.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in technology, digital product or transformation roles.
• Proven track record of taking digital platforms from concept to launch.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, learning‑management, marketplace, payment or service‑management platforms.
• Strong systems‑integration and data‑architecture capabilities.
• Experience working in Nigeria or a comparable African market.
• Pragmatic, commercially minded and delivery‑focused approach.
• Background in marketplaces, workforce technology, vocational education, field‑service operations or fintech is a plus.
