Technical Writer – Intermediate to Consultant Level

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation for our enterprise-scale digital solutions. The role spans intermediate to consultant levels and involves working closely with technical and business teams to translate complex concepts into clear user-focused guides.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical documentation, user guides, operational manuals, release notes and implementation guides.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and development teams to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain document repositories, version control and governance compliance.
• Support knowledge-management activities, handover processes and documentation audits.
• Participate in project reviews and ensure documentation aligns with SDLC and Agile delivery practices.

Required profile

• 7-15+ years of experience in enterprise-scale digital or technology environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, Business or related field; postgraduate qualifications a plus.
• Completed NYSC (for Nigeria) if applicable.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with documentation tools and collaboration platforms.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with governance frameworks, version control and knowledge-management processes.
