Talent Acquisition Specialist (Full Time)

About the role

Jumia is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own end‑to‑end recruitment for multiple markets across Africa. You will drive sourcing, selection and onboarding while ensuring a positive candidate experience and supporting the company’s employer brand.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, social media and university partnerships, building pipelines for high‑volume and critical roles.
• Execute full‑cycle recruitment using Greenhouse, including screening, interviewing, assessment coordination and offer preparation.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data, track metrics such as time‑to‑fill and source effectiveness, and report status to country leadership.
• Support employer branding initiatives, represent Jumia at career fairs and create content for the careers page.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs, provide interview coaching and share market insights.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in talent acquisition or related HR roles.
• Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies in fast‑paced, multi‑market environments.
• Experience educating hiring managers on interview techniques and selection criteria.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Greenhouse ATS.
• Advanced sourcing skills on LinkedIn, job boards and social media platforms.
• Data‑driven recruitment analytics and reporting.
