State Head – Regional Leader

About the role

FairMoney is looking for a State Head to lead its aggregator network in a designated Nigerian state. Reporting to the Head of Retail Banking, you will act as the regional CEO, driving growth, market share and loan conversion across agents and consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Source new clients and expand the retail marketplace network of agents and consumers.
• Ensure month‑on‑month acquisition, retention and loan conversion targets are met.
• Develop partnerships with schools, markets, OFIs, super agents, aggregators and agricultural value‑chain actors.
• Monitor regional performance, staff behavior and market intelligence, and report insights to senior leadership.
• Brand, train and support agents, consumers and partners to maintain compliance with financial regulations.
• Motivate, mentor and supervise regional staff to achieve corporate objectives and monthly OKRs.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Retail Banking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in agency banking or a similar sales‑focused financial services environment.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performance sales teams.
• Strong self‑motivation, result‑orientation and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
