Software Engineer – .NET & Blazor Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Software Engineer to join our Lagos team and help build and extend a sophisticated data platform for the oil & gas sector. You will work on both front‑end Blazor Server pages and back‑end .NET services, integrating AI features and event‑driven pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Blazor Server UI components, wire them to services, handle SignalR events and implement JS interop.
• Design domain services, MediatR handlers and REST API controllers using .NET 10.
• Extend EF Core DbContexts across multiple PostgreSQL schemas and manage migrations.
• Produce and consume RabbitMQ and Kafka events; implement background IHostedService workers.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI and Ollama for AI‑powered agents and NL‑to‑SQL/policy generation.
• Build and maintain data pipelines (PipelineLibrary / PipelinePlus) and support NiFi‑orchestrated data migration.
• Develop gRPC services and shared API contracts for micro‑services communication.
• Participate in .NET Aspire app‑host configuration, ensuring clean architecture across Core, Infrastructure and Application layers.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (approximately 3 years) in software development.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently within a distributed team.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures and cloud‑native services.
