Senior Structural Engineer (Designing and Detailing)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and detailing of complex structures. The role involves creating high‑quality drawings, overseeing construction execution, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

• Innovate and develop complex structural designs and blueprints using advanced engineering software.
• Oversee construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and project managers to align structural designs with overall project vision.
• Maintain strong client relationships, providing regular project updates and technical guidance.
• Create accurate structural drawings—including plans, elevations, sections, and details—using CAD, Revit, and related tools.
• Review and modify drawings in response to design changes or client specifications, documenting all adjustments.
• Identify and resolve design and construction challenges in cooperation with team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct occasional site visits to verify construction aligns with detailed drawings and specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Valid Professional Engineer license or Structural Engineer certification (COREN).
• 10‑15 years of practical experience in structural engineering across diverse projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, building materials, and design methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in structural detailing for residential, commercial, luxury, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications.
