Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical assessments, feasibility studies and technical advisory projects for data‑centre and critical‑infrastructure clients. The role involves designing HVAC and cooling solutions, conducting site surveys, and supporting business development within the Energy & Utilities sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering assessments and feasibility studies for data‑centres and critical infrastructure.
• Develop, review and optimise HVAC, cooling and mechanical solutions.
• Conduct site surveys, perform engineering analysis and oversee design reviews.
• Prepare and review technical reports, BOQs, specifications and proposals.
• Engage with clients to translate complex engineering issues into practical, commercially viable solutions.
• Support business development and contribute to winning consulting opportunities.

Required profile

• B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC, data‑centre or critical‑infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in engineering design, technical assessments and client advisory.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• COREN registration is an advantage.
