Refurbishment Line Manager – Lagos

About the role

The Refurbishment Line Manager leads end‑to‑end refurbishment operations at our Lagos facilities, ensuring returned and recovered solar products are efficiently assessed, repaired, graded and made saleable. The role also carries full accountability for spare‑parts, refurbished and field‑return inventory, guaranteeing accurate stock records and uninterrupted throughput.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily refurbishment line activities across multiple locations, setting and monitoring production targets, quality and turnaround‑time KPIs.
• Oversee the complete flow of returned products from intake, diagnostics, repair, grading to dispatch, working closely with logistics, warehouse and supply‑chain teams.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for spare parts, refurbished goods and field returns; conduct cycle counts, audits and reconcile physical with system data.
• Forecast spare‑parts requirements, manage stock levels to avoid shortages or excess, and drive corrective actions for discrepancies.
• Lead, develop and evaluate a team of refurbishment technicians and quality inspectors, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Implement quality control standards, manage product grading frameworks and investigate recurring defects using root‑cause analysis.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities to reduce waste, lower unit refurbishment costs and produce regular operational reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing refurbishment, production or similar operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, logistics and supply‑chain coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, conduct performance reviews and deliver training.
• Analytical mindset with experience in reporting, KPI tracking and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
