About the role
We are seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Lagos. The role involves managing cost estimation, tender preparation, and payment certification to ensure projects stay on budget and schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for upcoming projects.
- Develop and issue tender documents and evaluate contractor bids.
- Monitor site progress, assess variations, and certify contractor payments.
- Conduct risk and value management assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve technical and financial issues.
Required profile
- HND or B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 2 years of post‑NYSC experience in construction cost control.
- Proven ability to work with accuracy, integrity and strong attention to detail.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, WinQS).
