Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will support Eagleline Consult’s construction projects by managing costs, preparing tender documents and ensuring accurate financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with project teams, contractors and clients to deliver cost‑effective solutions and maintain contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs) and tender documentation.
• Evaluate contractor quotations and assist with procurement processes.
• Monitor project budgets, cash‑flow projections and cost performance.
• Measure and value completed works for interim and final payments.
• Prepare variation orders, claims and cost reports.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and quantities.
• Provide commercial and financial advice to project teams.
• Prepare final accounts and project close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying or cost management.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control and procurement.
• Membership of a recognised professional body is an added advantage.
