About the role
We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer / Software Tester to join our team in Lagos. You will ensure the quality of our banking and finance software through both manual and automated testing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts from requirements and user stories.
- Execute manual tests and create automated test cases.
- Identify, document and track defects using a bug‑tracking system.
- Perform regression testing to validate fixes and enhancements.
- Assess performance under load and stress conditions.
- Set up, maintain and manage test environments.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers and business analysts to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
