Property/Housing Manager

About the role

The Property/Housing Manager will serve as the main point of contact for tenants in Lagos, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly while maintaining the overall condition of the properties. This role involves rent collection, coordination of maintenance, and regular communication with property owners.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for tenants, handling enquiries, concerns and move‑in/move‑out processes.
• Monitor rent payments, send reminders and keep accurate payment records.
• Conduct regular property inspections to verify cleanliness, safety and maintenance standards.
• Coordinate with cleaners, contractors and other service providers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Provide owners with regular updates on rent collection, property condition and tenant feedback.
• Maintain organized documentation of tenants, expenses, maintenance activities and other property operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in property, housing or estate management.
• Residency in Lagos with good knowledge of its various areas.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Honest, responsible, organized and capable of working independently.
• Ability to manage multiple properties, tenants and tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer literacy and good record‑keeping skills.
• Willingness to travel across Lagos; reliable transportation is an advantage.
• Proactive problem‑solving, follow‑up and reporting skills.
