Project Engineer / Builder

About the role

Valjes Properties is seeking a motivated Project Engineer/Builder to oversee daily site operations on Lagos Island. You will coordinate with architects, contractors and project managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and enforce safety standards.
• Coordinate communication between project managers, architects, and contractors.
• Monitor progress, adjust schedules and manage resources including labor, materials and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and compliance with building codes.
• Resolve issues or delays that arise during construction.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Building Technology.
• Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
• Minimum 24 months of experience in project management and construction oversight.
• Residence on Lagos Island or nearby.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
