Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join Beyond fitness Ltd’s operations in Lagos. The role involves managing purchase requests, sourcing suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining quality and budget compliance. You will also be responsible for preparing procurement and expenditure reports and ensuring compliance with approval procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase requests and identify reliable suppliers.
• Obtain, compare, and negotiate quotations, prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Place orders, track deliveries, and resolve any supplier or delivery issues.
• Maintain an approved supplier database and monitor supplier performance.
• Coordinate stock levels and replenishment with Operations and Energy Bar teams.
• Ensure purchases align with approved budgets, specifications, and quality standards.
• Keep accurate procurement records, including quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
• Prepare procurement and expenditure reports while following financial controls and ethical procurement standards.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, organisational and analytical abilities.
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of procurement and inventory management processes.
