Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Operations Supervisor will ensure smooth daily operations of our retail and fashion store in Lagos. You will lead a team, manage inventory, and guarantee excellent customer service while maintaining a well‑organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise staff attendance, punctuality, appearance, conduct and daily performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked office and sales floor.
• Monitor daily sales, record payments and transactions accurately.
• Conduct regular stock checks, report missing or damaged items, and manage inventory levels.
• Oversee online order processing, packaging, dispatch and delivery follow‑up.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure high service standards.
• Enforce company rules, procedures and protect merchandise, cash and equipment.
• Identify operational issues, take corrective action or report to management.
• Prepare regular reports on sales, staff performance, stock and customer issues.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in retail, fashion, sales or a similar operational environment.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of basic sales, inventory and cash‑handling procedures.
• Computer literacy with basic office/business software.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple responsibilities and maintain high accountability.
