Motion Graphics Volunteer (Data Stipend)

About the role

FriendnPal, a multilingual AI-powered mental health platform combining digital support, behavioural insights and access to human therapists, is looking for a creative Motion Graphics Volunteer. The role turns ideas, campaigns, product features, mental health insights and impact stories into motion graphics and short-form videos for digital platforms, working with marketing, communications and product teams. It is a voluntary, unpaid position with responsibilities, schedules and deliverables agreed in advance.

Key responsibilities

• Create motion graphics, animated videos and short-form content for social media, campaigns and digital marketing.
• Develop animated explainers of the platform, features, services and impact.
• Turn scripts, storyboards, concepts and briefs into animations.
• Produce content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and WhatsApp.
• Support mental health awareness campaigns with educational animations, infographics and storytelling.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, design and product teams on creative concepts.
• Create animated promotional material for product launches, partnerships, events and community initiatives.
• Maintain brand consistency and edit videos with typography, transitions, sound, illustrations and subtitles.
• Adapt content to different formats and aspect ratios, keeping it accessible, inclusive and culturally sensitive.
• Incorporate feedback, organise project files and stay up to date with motion design trends.

Required profile

• Demonstrable interest or experience in motion graphics, animation, video editing or visual storytelling.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and communicate ideas through visuals.
• Good communication, time management and collaboration skills; willing to receive feedback and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio, showreel or samples of previous work is an advantage.
• Preferred: passion for mental health awareness, digital health or social impact, understanding of social media formats, and ability to create culturally relevant, inclusive content.

Required skills

• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender, Canva or CapCut, or equivalent software.
• Attention to detail, composition, typography, timing and visual consistency.
