Automotive Photographer & Videographer

About the role

Omegi Autos is looking for an Automotive Photographer & Videographer to capture high-quality images and videos of vehicles for marketing, advertising, social media and promotional campaigns. The role involves planning and executing creative photoshoots and video productions that highlight vehicle features, design, performance and condition, and requires on-site work at the dealership.

Key responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photographs and videos of vehicles for marketing, advertising, social media and promotional campaigns.
• Plan and execute creative automotive photoshoots and video productions highlighting vehicle features, design, performance and condition.
• Record cinematic vehicle footage, including exterior and interior shots, rolling shots, detail shots and driving sequences where appropriate.
• Edit photographs and videos with professional editing software to achieve high-quality results.
• Develop creative concepts, storyboards and shot lists for automotive content production.
• Use professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, stabilisers and drones where permitted, and ensure vehicles are properly positioned and prepared before shooting.
• Capture content suitable for social media, websites, digital advertisements and other marketing channels.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional photography or videography experience.
• Strong portfolio showing photography and video editing skills; experience photographing cars is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with strong creativity and attention to detail.
• Must reside in Lagos, preferably around Lekki, Ajah or nearby areas, and be able to work on-site at the dealership.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar editing software.
• Good understanding of lighting, composition and cinematic camera movements.
• Ability to shoot high-quality content with professional cameras.
• Preferred: experience producing luxury automotive content, drone photography, high-performing Instagram and TikTok ads, and professional promotional videos; ownership of professional photography equipment is an advantage.
