About the role
E-Direct is hiring a Fashion Designer in Lagos (Marina) to create original clothing designs based on market trends, customer preferences and company requirements. The role covers a wide range of clothing categories and involves selecting and sourcing materials.
Key responsibilities
- Create sketches, illustrations, mood boards and design concepts for new collections and individual garments.
- Develop designs for casual wear, corporate wear, traditional attire, occasion wear, uniforms and other assigned fashion products.
- Select fabrics, colours, trims, accessories, buttons, zippers, threads and other materials, and assess them for quality, durability, texture, suitability and cost.
- Work with suppliers to source materials and recommend alternatives when needed.
- Monitor the availability and condition of fabrics, sewing materials and other production supplies.
Required profile
- A minimum of 1 year of experience.
- A minimum of SSCE.
