About the role

Essential.NG is seeking a Mobile App Developer to join its growing tech team in Lagos. The role focuses on building high‑quality Android and iOS applications that meet product requirements and deliver excellent user experiences. You will work closely with designers and backend engineers to bring features from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Develop new features and functionality based on product requirements.
• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and functional mobile interfaces.
• Integrate mobile applications with APIs, databases, payment systems, and other third‑party services.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
• Conduct application testing before deployment.
• Ensure applications are optimized for different mobile devices and operating systems.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of HND.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar mobile development role.
• Proven ability to deliver functional Android and/or iOS applications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
