Legal Associate – Abuja (Hybrid)

About the role

Fair Castle Legal is seeking a motivated Legal Associate to join its Abuja team. This hybrid position offers exposure to a wide range of legal matters, supporting senior consultants and engaging directly with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth legal research and produce comprehensive reports on statutes, regulations, case law, and commercial matters.
• Analyze complex legal issues and deliver practical, solution‑oriented recommendations.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, pleadings, briefs, memoranda, client advisories, and legislative bills.
• Collaborate with senior consultants on compliance strategies, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and client reports.
• Support legislative drafting and stakeholder consultation engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized university; Call to the Bar (Nigeria) required.
• 2–3 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Professionalism, discretion, and high ethical standards.
