IT System Administrator – Lagos

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT System Administrator to manage and maintain our organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance and data security. The role involves day‑to‑day support for hardware, software, and network services across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain computers, servers, networks and software applications.
• Monitor performance of IT infrastructure and resolve any issues promptly.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, email settings and security configurations.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software and network problems.
• Perform routine system updates, backups and apply security patches.
• Oversee antivirus, firewalls and cybersecurity protocols to protect company data.
• Set up and maintain printers, scanners, routers, switches and other IT equipment.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Support cloud‑based systems, file‑sharing platforms and remote‑access tools.
• Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and support.
• Recommend infrastructure upgrades and ensure business continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years proven experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, Microsoft are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
