Intern Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy Experience

About the role

On‑Tario Pharmacy in Ughelli is looking for a motivated Intern Pharmacist to gain hands‑on experience in community pharmacy practice. The internship provides exposure to patient care, medication dispensing, inventory control and daily pharmacy operations under the guidance of licensed pharmacists.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with prescription processing and medication dispensing.
• Provide patient counselling and medication information.
• Support inventory and stock management activities.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Participate in daily pharmacy operations and customer service.

Required profile

• Valid Provisional Licence issued by the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
