Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead HR functions across multiple business units, including quick‑service restaurants, pastry production, and event services. The role will shape and execute HR strategies that support workforce planning, performance management, staff development, compliance, and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for all departments.
• Maintain accurate employee records and coordinate payroll processing with Finance.
• Enforce HR policies, ensure compliance with labour laws and company standards.
• Resolve employee relations issues and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Track attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters with department heads.
• Design and deliver training and development programs.
• Manage KPI‑based performance appraisal systems.
• Provide HR data and analytics to support business decisions.
• Lead employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
• Oversee HR audits, legal compliance, and workplace standards across all units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or related field.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role.
• Experience managing HR across multiple locations and diverse teams.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record in performance management, talent development, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
