HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources function in Lagos. The role will drive HR strategy, ensure compliance, and support a growing retail and FMCG business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Manage performance management including KPIs, goal setting, coaching and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal policies.
• Oversee employee relations, engagement initiatives and payroll administration in partnership with Finance.
• Maintain HRIS, employee records and generate HR analytics and reports.
• Design and deliver learning and development programmes.
• Create and update HR policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in HR, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, fashion or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour legislation.
• High integrity, confidentiality and excellent communication skills.
• HR certification such as CIPM or SHRM is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
