Home Tutor for Preschool Child in Asaba

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated home tutor to support a preschool‑aged boy, Chinedu, in Asaba. The focus is on early childhood education, helping him improve communication, literacy, numeracy and phonics skills while keeping him motivated.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 2 hours of instruction per session on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 4:00 PM at the client’s home.
• Follow the Nigerian Curriculum to teach literacy, numeracy and phonics.
• Encourage verbal interaction and confidence building through engaging activities.
• Track progress and adapt lessons to meet the child’s learning needs.

Required profile

• Experience working with preschool children or early‑year learners.
• Ability to motivate young learners and foster communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on the specified days and times.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Nigerian early‑education curriculum.
• Proficiency in teaching literacy, numeracy and phonics to preschoolers.
