Heating & Air Conditioning Engineer (Lagos)

About the role

Mandilas Group is seeking a qualified Heating & Air Conditioning Engineer to join its Cooling division in Lagos. This full‑time, on‑site position involves designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems for a range of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design HVAC solutions and produce detailed blueprints using CAD tools.
• Install, commission, and test heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and urgent repairs to ensure system reliability.
• Verify that all designs and installations comply with relevant engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise system performance and energy efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in HVAC engineering, installation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in HVAC design and computer‑aided design (CAD).
• Experience troubleshooting, system optimisation, and adhering to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC Technician) are a plus.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the cooling or engineering industry.
