Growth & Commercial Lead

About the role

Bridgemead Advisory is seeking a Growth & Commercial Lead to drive sustainable revenue expansion and strengthen market presence across Nigeria. You will own the end‑to‑end business development cycle, from prospecting senior executives to closing high‑value deals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies that generate revenue growth and increase market share.
• Identify, qualify and acquire new clients across target industries while maintaining a robust pipeline.
• Lead the full sales process: prospecting, client engagement, proposal creation, negotiation and deal closure.
• Conduct market research to uncover high‑value prospects, emerging opportunities and strategic partnership possibilities.
• Build and nurture relationships with CEOs, Managing Directors, HR Directors, CFOs, COOs and other senior leaders.
• Grow existing accounts through cross‑selling and upselling of recruitment, executive search, leadership and advisory services.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to inform strategic initiatives.
• Represent Bridgemead at executive forums, conferences and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
• Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate commercial terms and ensure smooth hand‑over to delivery teams.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 5 years of experience in business development, commercial leadership or sales within professional services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and client acquisition targets.
• Excellent consultative selling and negotiation skills with senior‑level decision makers.
• Strong analytical ability to translate market research into actionable growth plans.
