Frontend Developer (React Native)

About the role

A company is looking for a skilled Frontend Developer (React Native) to build and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android. The role involves working with product managers, designers and backend developers to deliver seamless, visually appealing and high-performing mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
• Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into functional applications with product, design and backend teams.
• Write clean, scalable and efficient code following best practices.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, and optimise performance for speed and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and native device functionalities.
• Take part in code reviews and help improve internal processes and development standards.
• Stay up to date with mobile development trends, frameworks and tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer focused on React Native.
• Experience building and deploying mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Familiarity with native build tools such as Xcode and Android Studio, and app store deployment.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Strong knowledge of mobile app UI/UX standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills, plus strong communication and teamwork.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+) and React Native architecture.
• State management tools such as Redux or MobX.
