About the role
The Borough Lagos is seeking a Front Desk Officer to be the first point of contact for guests at our boutique hotel in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. You will manage check‑ins, check‑outs and reservations while delivering a high level of hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Perform all check‑in and check‑out procedures and register guest information.
- Manage online and phone reservations, confirming group bookings and VIP services.
- Inform guests about payment methods, rates, amenities and hotel policies.
- Address guest complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready.
- Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments.
Required profile
- A university degree.
- Previous experience as a hotel front‑desk agent, receptionist or similar role.
- Strong customer‑service attitude.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with hotel reservation systems such as Cloudbeds and RoomKeyPMS.
- Familiarity with travel platforms like Booking and TripAdvisor.
