Assistant Manager – Fast Food Restaurant

About the role

Aggregon Foods Nigeria Limited is seeking a proactive Assistant Manager to support daily operations at its fast‑food outlet in Ajah (Badore), Lagos. The role is essential for maintaining high standards of service, quality, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Outlet Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day restaurant activities.
• Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and compliance with company standards.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to meet performance targets.
• Monitor food preparation and presentation for quality and hygiene.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support scheduling, shift planning, and attendance management.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining and kitchen environment.
• Drive sales through upselling and promotional activities.
• Generate reports on sales, expenses, and staff performance.
• Stand in for the Outlet Manager when required.

Required profile

• OND/HND/BSc in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in fast‑food or hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Problem‑solving orientation and customer‑service focus.
• Organizational and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
