About the role
The Finance Officer will support the financial management and operational efficiency of a medical diagnostics organization. Reporting to the General Manager and CFO, the role focuses on financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash‑flow management and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial reports, management accounts, budgets, forecasts and analyses.
- Monitor cash flow, recommend liquidity optimisation strategies and manage cash‑flow forecasting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely transactions and reconciliations.
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality of financial data and documentation.
- Streamline and automate finance processes, implement internal controls and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations and financial standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support procurement, expenditure management and business development activities.
Required profile
- 2‑4 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the healthcare or diagnostics sector.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, statutory requirements and internal control frameworks.
- Ability to produce detailed financial analyses and present findings to senior management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proactive attitude towards process improvement and operational efficiency.
