Finance Officer – Medical Diagnostics

About the role

The Finance Officer will support the financial management and operational efficiency of a medical diagnostics organization. Reporting to the General Manager and CFO, the role focuses on financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash‑flow management and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial reports, management accounts, budgets, forecasts and analyses.
• Monitor cash flow, recommend liquidity optimisation strategies and manage cash‑flow forecasting.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely transactions and reconciliations.
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality of financial data and documentation.
• Streamline and automate finance processes, implement internal controls and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations and financial standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support procurement, expenditure management and business development activities.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the healthcare or diagnostics sector.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, statutory requirements and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to produce detailed financial analyses and present findings to senior management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive attitude towards process improvement and operational efficiency.
