Finance Manager – Remote

About the role

As a Finance Manager you will lead a global finance operation while staying hands‑on with core accounting work. This remote position lets you combine team leadership with direct execution to maintain technical expertise and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations by directing Senior Accountants and reprioritising work based on deadlines, business impact and financial exposure.
• Review invoices, payments, reconciliations, allocations and other deliverables to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Diagnose accounting or procedural breakdowns, determine root causes and produce detailed corrective feedback.
• Execute urgent or complex finance tasks personally when needed.
• Identify and implement AI, LLM and automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve speed and precision.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing finance teams and global finance operations.
• Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to assess and improve the quality of financial deliverables.
• Excellent analytical skills to pinpoint data, system or process errors.
• Comfort working with AI‑driven tools and automation technologies.
• Ability to provide clear, evidence‑based coaching documentation.
