About the role

We are seeking a dedicated female home tutor to provide private lessons for a JSS 1 student located on Airport Road, Abuja. The role focuses on improving the child’s attention, focus, and academic performance across core subjects.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver 1.5 hours of personalized instruction each session, three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday) at 5:00 PM.
  • Teach JSS Math, English, and Science following the Nigerian curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching methods to support a student with ADD/ADHD, ensuring lessons are engaging and paced appropriately.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to the parent.

Required profile

  • Female tutor preferred.
  • Experience teaching JSS 1 or equivalent secondary level students.
  • Understanding of strategies for learners with attention challenges.

Required skills

  • Strong knowledge of JSS Math, English, and Science curricula.
  • Ability to create interactive, focused lesson plans.
