Entry-Level Structural Engineer – Lagos (Iyana Ipaja)

About the role

We are seeking a fresh‑graduate Structural Engineer to join our Lagos office in Iyana Ipaja. The role focuses on supporting structural design and project delivery while leveraging strong Excel data‑analysis capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Excel models for loads, material quantities, cost estimates and schedules.
• Use VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, charts and data validation to clean, summarize and analyse project data.
• Prepare automated BOQ summaries, material take‑offs and progress trackers for engineers and management.
• Assist with structural calculations, drawing preparation and checking of shop drawings and as‑built documents.
• Support site visits by collecting measurements, recording observations and updating Excel trackers.
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors, follow up on deliverables and maintain QA/QC logs and version‑controlled files.

Required profile

• HND/B.Eng/B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• NYSC discharge certificate (or exemption letter).
• Advanced Excel proficiency with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIFS, charts and data validation.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce clear, accurate reports.
• Available to work Monday‑Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM onsite in Iyana Ipaja.
